    Not ALL kids are bad!

Being a softball coach myself, this really touched my heart and I wanted to share it with my friends here. An act of ultimate sportsmanship cost a team the win but kids like that will win in life. Read the story in the link.

You sure don't see that everyday.

No they did not. "Accompanied by a standing ovation from the fans, they finally reached home plate and passed the home run hitter into the arms of her own teammates."

How would you like to be the parent of either of those girls. I would keep that picture forever.

    Great story.

There is WAY too much win at all costs attitudes going on today. The original girl who spoke up and helped carry the player is a class act, I'm going to share that story with the girls I coach.
Trust me, I know what I'm doing.

Being a coach now for 7 years, I've seen good and I've seen a lot of very bad sportsmanship. I've coaches and girls with a win at all costs attitude. I've striven very hard to install good sportsmanship in my girls and it is so cool to see that I'm not the only one.

It's just a game. Although I've been told I've had a wrong attitude. But still at the end of the day it is still just a game.
