    Donnely AC in N.Y.C.

    Is anyone familiar with
    A company in NEw York
    Called Donnelly Mechanical
I hear they are a large
    Company and are hiring.
    However people in the
    Supply houses comment
    On them being very strict
    With average pay.
    Thank you

is there not a wage in New York established by the local pipefitters/hvac union?

why is there some question as to what the 'average pay' is?

I've never had to negotiate a wage in my life
    full (incredible!) benefits always included

    thank you

don't know your level or that your in 638B.....TRANE Hauppauge Long Island and the LIC offices are looking for techs and apprentices from their site www.trane.com if your not in the local after 45 days they are committed to get you in with full bennys.that question on the salaries depends on what year your in coming up to journeymen and thats scale for 2008.if you have 20 years with solid experiece you get over scale at your interview...simple as the interviewer asking "what kind of money are you looking for" an you throw out what dollars over scale you will accept and the give and take kicks in on the final rate...vac...new truck...no watch...OT...new construction only....7AM to 3:30PM working hours and so on......

Are all shops in New York Union? I was in NY back in January for the AHR Expo and I seen tons of refrigeration, A/C, and Heating contractor trucks.

we put 4.10 an hour into some BS camp fund that is basically a slush fund for the tops. that amounts to almost 15 mil annually

few years ago we voted away our right to vote

in ten years there has been nothing but a white (no competition) ballot for officers of the local

more than once the mazzola's have been charged by a federal grand jury for stealing our pension money but no convictions ever. who made that back alley deal (with our money no doubt)?
