The test lab monkeys only make about 10.00 an hour. What do you expect?

They're just testing in 'real world install' conditions!

All of the brazing at this lab are the same. The tests they were doing were quite interesting. This brand gets slammed all the time for quality and for being sold to anyone that can breathe. It could be that these are lab monkey's as stated earlier and are paid poorly. I fail to see any relevance in that as you would think the people that are in charge of testing would want near perfect conditions. At any rate, I thought it messy enough to post here. It was hot and very humid!

Well, when the OP said "This brand gets slammed all the time for quality and for being sold to anyone that can breathe. " that left little doubt!

I always assumed that manufacture used Monkeys in the R & D department! It's the only explaination.

They just try to copy models of other brands, except made and sold cheaper!

I can compare them to Br**Burn vs name brand stuff like Honeywell and Totaline.
Br**burn thermostat techknowledgy is not even close to the name brands. Yet lots of dealers save a few bucks and install that crap everywhere and assume it's all made just same on the inside!

Oh? You saw other brands in there being "inspected"?
Or should we say, attempting to "reverse engineer"?

There must be $40.00 worth of silfaus in that one joint. Even I didn't solder that bad when I first started.

There wasn't allot to tear up, I did my best though. What camera? That was a burned mental image coupled to the usb port in my right nipple.
