need help (professional)
Hello I am new to this site. I am currently un-employed. Looking to upgrade my qualifications. I am a maintenance mechanic and would like to become an hvac tech in RI or MA what would be my best course of action,school or find a job as an apprentice any advice would be so helpful thank you

in this business the education never ends. Start with night school or continuing Education.
Get as many books on HVAC as you can and start reading.
if you NEED to work, find a job as an apprentice and go from there

We just hired a guy like you as an install trainee. He isn't making much money but as fast as he is learning, he will advance rapidly. We suggested if he wants to go beyond installation he look into schooling.
