    mini split troubles

hey guys iv got a question for ya. iv got a mini split here that im having a problem with. for some reason i cant pull a vaccum on the system past 1000, so i charged with nitrogen to find the leak to 150 low side and it held for an hour no fluctuations at all also soap checked all fittings and no leaks. i put a micron gauge on the pump itself and it pulls past 400 so i know its not the guage or vaccum but i still cant pull past 1000, 1500 on the sysytem so here is where you guys come in any suggestions?

    Hey stomper

Your pump should pull down to at least 50microns.

I'd try changing the oil in the pump or

If your using an electronic gauge, the sensor may need to be cleaned.

I,d try checking the above before worrying about system.

pump gets fresh oil on every startup and drained 5 min after turnoff il try cleaning the sensor
by the way pump does pull down to 50 i was just making sure the gauge would even read past 1000 thats why i only went to 400

    Okay,

So pump and sensor are fine.

Did you try holding vaccum when you got to 1000 microns. Possible leak maybe.

    or

If your certain theres no leaks there could be moisture in the system.

What kind of system are we talking about?

have you checked the hoses/manifold you are connecting the pump with?
have you checked the valves on the unit to be sure they are closed(ran into this once.)?

How long did you leave the pump on there?

Mini's seem to take forever to pull down sometimes.
