    Kw Spec For Heat Pump Strip

    I am planning on a 3.5 ton heat pump w/ 15 kw heat strip in a house I am renovating. The local utility needs a kw schedule for the house to see if I can move my entrance to the next pole. What est. figure do I give for this heat pump?

    Is it as simple as that? The actual kw demand? The reason I ask is because that is more than the entire rest of the house together. The utility co. doesn't even that much at the pole!
