Broke leg got better!!
Just wanted to pass the word along I had gone to the doc last thursday and he is now allowing me to put full weight on my leg!(Woo-Hoo!!) He said I can go from two crutches to one crutch to a cane to just my cam walker (My boys call it my Frankenstein boot). I am now down to one crutch and will be looking this weekend for a cool cane. I am so ready to get back to the field...I can almost smell the phosgene and coil cleaner now!!!

Wait till you start P.T. you gonna be hurting. I know from experience, it takes a long time to get the strength back in your leg from it being broke. good luck!

I know what you are saying. 14 years ago I broke my lower right leg.
Compound fracture, both bones. Took two operations, one rod, one
plate, and eleven screws. Was not fun. Took six weeks on crutches,
one month with therapy boot. Went to work everyday, just had to stay
behind desk. If I had stayed at home, would have driven everyone nuts.
I never did go to physical therapy, my desire to get back out got my
leg back in shape.

Right leg has been broke 3 times. Twice playing football when young and 5 years ago both bones at the shin. Compound fracture with a rod and screws to fix it.
It takes a lot longer to get back going when you are older.
