Year mfg, Model Number HS9-651-2p; SN: 51

    E-mail question to me:
Can you estimate the age of my Lennox compressor/condenser unit? The model number is HS9-651-2P; and it has a serial number of #51?

I never handled Lennox equipment & am not sure anymore about their ID code.

51 means it was made in the late Columbus OH plant, need the next 2 numbers for the year made. As I recall, the HS9 was with us from 1976 to 1981.
