rtac with ch-530 controls
a good customer has numerous rtac chillers with ch-530 controls, after a
recent rain storm one of the ch-530 screens was blank, when it was removed
water ran out of it. has anyone had this problem?, if so how was it fixed?
You can try drying it out with a blow dryer and reinstalling, but I would suggest just replaceing it with a new one, when you order the new one Trane sends a new gaskest to seal it with, just make sure your surface is clean when applying the new part, if you want added protection I guess you could also caulk around then unit or even build a hood/rain shield out of sht metal and put around it, just be aware of the condensor coil and wiring behind it.
I am also assuming your have the software needed to configure the controller.
Hope this helps.
