If a 300lb system has been evacuated to 470 microns for 24 hours and the vacuum pump is removed and the vacuum gauge rises 1 micron every 4 minutes should a leak be suspected?

if you pulled a system down to 470 microns and that is accurate, you are good

What do you mean by a 300 pound system?
Is this a system containing 300 pounds of refrigerant?
I'd watch that micron gauge for a bit and see if and when it levels off. An initial rise isn't abnormal.
