    I need some new wheels, but jobs are dropping like flies around here, so I'm gonna have to drive the Al Bundy special at least till this recession crap is over.

    Whats wrong with the Dodge? Mines treating me great. Just replaced wore out carrier bearing and some u joints.

    99 CHEV EXPRESS, 5.7, 3500 256,000 Still the original engine, change the oil every 3k 17 MPG, loaded ,not, a/c on a/c off, uphill, downhill. etc.

    The last service truck I drove was an E-250 1996 4.2L v-6
    loaded down for hvac/plumbing a when I left the company it had 279,000 miles 2 transmissions a butt load of tires and front end parts till I convinced my boss to find a shop to align it fully loaded. In the 10 years I drove it I never lost a days work!!!

    theirs...2004 Chevy Express van with 94k.....doing fine.

    ours....1996 Ford Windstar minivan with 106k miles
    1998 Chevrolet Corvette convertible with 61k on it.


    i've really trimmed down on the vehicles. used to have way too many.

    company - '04 E-250 with 99800 miles and its gone this coming week.

    personal - '96 c1500 Silverado 140,000 miles....its paid for, beats having a payment

    Haven't bought new since 1988. My last 8, except the wife's Subaru have been Repo's. I've gotten good deals and have had good luck with them.
