    What your contractor suggests can be done,and work fine,if properly designed and space allows.Reworking and sizing the existing duct layout could also work jut fine.

    What size system?

    Location?

    What size trunks from the carport?

    thank you guys i'm convinced i'm going to suggest that to my install manager. i've only been in the business for 2yrs and i'm trying gain as much knowledge as possible. thank you! it is a pain in the arse putting mastic on all those joints, and trying trying to get the square duct seal 100%. thank you guys again!

    pic of spiral trans

    i was wondering if anyone had a pic of trans. in spiral duct coming off of an air handler. not a high velocity either thank you

    Spiral and sheet metal plenums are the way to go. Unfortunately, most don't want to pay the added expense in materials and labor. We get a few that do and all are happy in the end.
