    Smile Air conditioner movers/reinstallers?

A Forest Hills-based friend of mine has a very large (17,700 btu) window Air Conditioner he doesn't need anymore, and he is willing to give it to me, assuming I can find someone to remove it from his premises.

So, I'm looking not specifically for a mover, but for an A/C installation specialist that will go to my friend's house, remove the A/C therein, transport it to my apartment in Forest Hills, and install it with the proper brackets and such in my living room.

Any suggestions/recommendations, (besides my "hunting through the Yellow Pages under A/C installation") :-)

    Many thanks!

Considering that many counties in many states have a Forrest Hills area.
No one knows where you are to say yes or no.

A window unit of that size, is usually 240 volt, do you have a 240 volt circuit at the window you want it installed in.

How many times must one fix something before it is fixed?

Local handyman or craigslist may be the best way.
