In defense of the MPG on the Element----
#1. I had the cargo carrier on the top of the thing which did create wind resistance. And 2, I ran the car to keep warm at times and to charge the battery in the computer. Plus out west the speed limit, in a lot of places, is 75 mph and I did all of that.

Thats funny huh? My truck will make almost 20 if I just drive 65 on the interstate, but I just dont have the time.
