I'm about 175 miles from Dice's house. Its been a lot of fun so far. I should hit Pittsburgh by 230-300 o'clock.

That's about the time Dice hit Boston...and I do mean hit...

You have yourself a good time...just don't let Dice drive...

Well ask Edward if he's out of fireworks........ if he's not, shoot a pop bottle rocket in the air for me, in the name of Edward Jr. I just read the article about that man, and I wish I could shake his hand. I am very proud of his service, and I ask you to shake his hand for me, will you Jerry? Then drink some beer. Oh, and give Claire and Dayna a hug! Have a Primantis with Ed and Enjoy yer road trip!

    Mr Road Trip just called......

Benncool just called me, I was happy my caller ID caught his cell #. [somebody here needs to keep track of him] He mentioned that he was using Diceman's phone. Oh well, I'll call MaryLou and get it. But he's made it to Pittsburgh and their downtown having fun. I'm jealous. I have a feeling they might even have a beer or two.

So Mr "Around the H-Talkies in 80 days" is on stop 2 and hasn't got lost yet.

    Thumbs up

    benncool,

I've made your thread on your travels a "sticky" so it appears at the top of the forum.

Seems the members want to "know", daily, about your travels...

We was talking about you young man.

We had a great time even though it was rather short.
Lets see, we saw some sites of old steel mills where they have been revitalized with shopping, bars and the like, did I mention bars? Well, we had a few in Bar Louie and some appetizers there. Then we went up to Mt. Washington, the coolest overlook of any city, took some pics and well, we hit a bar up there too.
Came down off the Mt. to Station Square, used to be old train station and riverboat area, still has the riverboats and all. We hit a bar there, it was college night and I think we were the oldest guys in the place.
We had a quite a few in there........
Then finished up at Primanti Brothers for a classic sammich to top it off.
Finally hit the sack around 1 AM.
Beenie looked kinda tired today, next stop is down south to see James.
What a great guy Beenie is, brought me a cool cast iron ducky for the pond, some Vt cheese and bacon and a case of Corona.

We called Spotts from the first bar, just for kicks.
    Muskie never made it.

    The misadventures of Beenie.
