What do you use to sanitize ice machines?

Just started to do in house ice machines PMs and wanted to know what you service people are using to sanitize their ice machines.
I was using a little bleach in my PMs for the ice machines and was told not to use it anymore by the suits. I do use the descaling solution first than the bleach. Is just the icemachine cleaner enough?

Tell the suits you've switched to 5% Sodium Hypochlorite for sanitizing.

LOL. Try to use something that is non-acid, something that will not corrode or eat the metal on your evap, if that happens its all downhill from there. Use some kind of nickel safe solution and you can use a type of sanitizing solution as well but read the manufactures service manuel to see how many cycles you need to run when using a sanitizer

I use bleach. I not only put it in the tank and circulate it but use a solution in a spray bottle to get at the hard to get places and the bin. Man you don;t even wanna know what kind of stuff will grow in an ice machine in Florida.
