Al Gore kicks off massive global warming campaign

No, he isn't kicking off a campaign to cause global warming even though this headline appears so.

    http://www.cnn.com/2008/TECH/science....ap/index.html

Former Vice President Al Gore on Monday launched a three-year, multimillion-dollar advocacy campaign calling for the U.S. to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions.

So, does anyone know if he's starting with large mansions that use as much energy as small towns?

I think it is all about his "legacy". He is obsessed with it just like Bill Clinton. He wants to go down as the savior of the planet and not the greatest con artist of the century.

"I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them. It is not to inaugurate new programs, but to cancel old ones that do violence to the Constitution."

Is that different than the Nobel Peace Prize he already pilfered..uh, won?

I say he's running a huge smoke and mirrors campaign. President? King of the world? Internet inventor? Father Al? I don't know but, this guy is not real. For real.
