    I'll be at the main branch of Goodman in Houston this AM. I'll ask them in person. I really don't see any problems,but you just never know.

    Do you have a mod.# for the heat strip? A few years back Carrier used to put a sticker on their evap. coils showing the recommended air flow, but it will still work with the air flow going in the other direction.

    Nope - all I knew was the air handler model # AR36-1. Sorry.

    You need to call 888-593-9988. Without a heat strip mod.# it might be an up hill chore.

    Could you ask about the AR36 air handler. There aren't more than a few heater kits
    for an air handler...

    I did,and short of me buying a new heat strip,they gave me the phone # to call. So the ball is in your court now.

    I gave him the # to call,let him call and ask Goodman how they wanted it installed.
