    Smile Mr. Bill,,where are you?

How are you Mr. Bill, in my thread on punishment it was stated that you have a system for restoring or rebooting or something. Here is the full story. My daughters computer is on the cable coming in[road runner]. W e have a router on hers for ours[how am I doing so far?] I guess she gets this SPYAWAY VIRUS and cant remember what she had first time[3weeks ago]. wE BOTH HAVE 360 NORTON. I guess she gets this adware crap from like myspace and even threw pictures. Its a shame because they say you get it from porn sites and crap like that but I know thats not the case.[shes 21] So I ran a full scan like three times each time it picked up like 3 viruses, but I still have the "you need to buy our virus advertising crap on the desk top". Which is a scam. Buddy had to restore ours to factory when it happened to ours, he said they just keep getting more embeded. Any sorry for long post but thanks for any help. I did down load this avast virus remover for free and it seemed to help. Victor

Use your Internet Explorer browser, and look up Trend Micro. Go to their main page and look around until you find the free web based House Call. It is a program that you can use for free, and you do not down load it or install it. It checks your system for virus, spy ware, Grey whare. It will take a while to run, so let it go until it is done. It has a lot of good information. It will let you clean up things, and give you good tips on fixes.

Next If you are not already using Mozilla Fire Fox browser, I recommend that you down load it and use it as your main browser.

    Norton is a crock IMO

You can download AVG free, but let me tell ya, they have a Internet Security package that cant be beat.

It has all you need, firewall, anti virus, anti spy and anti spam. And its only $80 for two years, best money you will ever spend to saveguard your system.

I cant even fadom doing without such a program these days.

Lol Weber. I think he put that in there just to let us know, in case, that she is of legal age..lol

But I know what he meant..the problem is if you email address is in someone elses puter, you are at risk of getting spam.

Thats why I like the anti spam in AVG, you can tell it wich stuff you dont want, and it will mark it spam next time, and I have mine loaded in to a folder named spam. So before deleting, I look at it real quick to make sure there is not something I may want. Many times when you order something from a new place, the notice may end up marked spam.

Sorry if I mislead you I don't use "any" anti virus programs at all, I use a program called Acronis True Image http://www.acronis.com/. What I do is upon getting my 4 computers drives like a want them loaded from scratch with whatever we want on them, I take Acronis True Image and I bought 4 simple cheap 80 gig backup drives "ebay" and I "clone" each computer master drive to the 80 Gig slave drive and then I have a backup of each computer. I know the next question will be Mr. Bill what about all the added stuff you add to each computer? Well "before" I have to use the cloned drive to clone back to the original we have one computer we use as a server "yes server drive gets cloned also" so I take all the new stuff since the clone and bring it across the network to the server and store it there until the clone back to the messed up master is done and then I can bring back all the added stuff back across the network to that new cloned drive. I know unless you have some sort of advance computer knowledge this might confuse you, but it's really pretty easy. By the way it takes me 7 minutes to clone from the clone slave backup drive back to any of the masters, in other words I am back up and going like brand new with any of my 4 computers in 7 minutes. By the way anti virus programs suck who do you think is sending out the viruses for the anti virus programs to catch? the anti virus companies are, that is called job security and also all anti virus programs slow your PC down by at least 25% and I don't care what anyone tells you, any anti virus company if there honest will tell you the same. Also at random times I will backup all the new stuff added to each computer to the network server, but to be honest we really just use all the PC's hooked up to the internet for internet purposes only, my Business computer doesn't ever access the net.

First of all, don't use norton anything or symantec anything...all crap! The best anti-virus you can get is Kaspersky anti-virus or internet security. Google it, you'll find it. I get all my keys for free from warez but you kinda have to know what your doing to get'em. Bill obviously knows wtf hes talking about though but if you dont understand any of that your gonna have a real tough time trying to replicate it.

Yes, they called me from my supply house and told me I have mail, I have a lot of things sent there because I see them more often than I do my mailbox.
