Has anyone used CRYSTAL ENGINEERING CORP Digital Gauges?

My company is looking to purchase the most accurate pressure gauge on the market. We are only using it for testing purposes and don't need to add or remove any refrigerant. It will be used almost entirely for residential ac testing (R-22 and R-410a refrigerants). From the research we've done the Crystal Engineering Corp Digital Gauges boast the highest accuracy levels. Has anyone used this equipment or more importantly does anyone have any complaints about this equipment? We realize we will have to combine this with a manifold system. Any suggestions about the best manifolds are welcome as well.

    Thanks

If you arent adding or removing ..... you dont need a manifold...... and if the hose you use is any longer than a short stub.... then yes you will remove charge, every time.... even with the stub you lose some.

I personally would never recommend gauging up as a PM.

I'm sorry if this seems like a naive question, but what do you mean by gauging up as a PM?

What exactly are you going to be testing for?

We will be doing large scale residential refrigerant charge testing. I realize that in order to test refrigerant levels you need to remove some refrigerant.

What method do you use to know if you have proper charge?
