Seawater cooled condensors for residential HVAC?
Has anyone ever experimented with using seawater (for those who live on canals or the open water) as a more efficient (than air) method of condensor cooling for HVAC? This is used on marine A/C and refer systems all the time.
I'd like to discuss this with anyone that has tried or has interest in trying this. Thanks

No I haven't. But those condensers are made for saltwater.
The price increase, may not be practical, when you add th operating cost of the pump, and additional controls needed.
Plus cost to periodically descale the coils.
