    Infinity "Event"

I went out of town for a week and utilized the Vacation setting on my Infinity system for the first time. When I got back I went into the service menu to look at some of the data. Checked "Last 10 System Events" and saw one for this afternoon: 72-Thermal Cutout in High Stage.

Can someone tell me what this means and if I need to do anything about it?

It means that if you had a simple system you would'nt be having all these questions and problems, simple still is the best way

It means you should contact your HVAC company and have them explain the event to your and while they're at it, come out and do the annual tune-up. You do have an annual tune-up, right? RIGHT? I mean what could be simpler than just asking the nice service tech what it all means while he's there doing the tune-up. What I will explain is that if you're getting a TCO now, just wait till summer!!
If YOU want change, YOU have to first change.

If you are waiting for the 'other guy' to change first, just remember, you're the 'other guy's' other guy. To continue to expect real change when you keep acting the same way as always, is folly. Won't happen. Real change will only happen when a majority of the people change the way they vote!

So far thanks for nothing. This site is sure going downhill.

One of the reasons I got the Infinity system was so that I could understand my equipment. I'm not stupid enough that I would do anything except change my filters and adjust a damper or clean the leaves away from the compressor. What's wrong with gleaning some information from this site so I can have an intelligent conversation with a technician?

So if anybody has anything useful to add please do so. Otherwise, consider yourself uninvited from the conversation.

That code is most likely saying there is a problem in the starting circuit during a call for high capacity.

    Please call for service ASAP.
