For those Tracking Parent Company Ownership - FEDDERS
Airwell Group Acquires Fedders Residential HVAC
PARIS—The Airwell Group has purchased the residential HVAC business of Fedders North America.
The new company will be called Airwell-Fedders North America Inc., and will be a subsidiary of Airwell Air Conditioning and its parent company, Israel-based ELCO Holdings.
Airwell Air Conditioning has production facilities in France, Italy, Israel, China and Argentina. The acquisition enables Airwell to enter the North American market.
No one said it would be easy to track parent companies.Designer Dan

odds are it will still be manufactured in the same place as it is today with the same level of quality (I use that term loosely).

Fedders makes Fedders, briefly made for Heat Controller after purchasing Eubank which was making HC's outdoor units. Didn't take long for HC to get smart and go back to Rheem.
Yea, Doc's right on the quality or lack there of. We sold a few Chinese HC units for budget reasons, lost the fan motors on about every one - maybe every one cuz just got off the horn with a HO whose fan wasn't turning.
After circling the drain, I think they got rid of Trion as it was a good part of the biz.
Emerson Electric makes their own motors plus they own White-Rodgers & Copeland among others.
