Homeowner told me 2 years ago a hardstart kit had to be installed to get the unit running. Then last summer they had another tech out when the unit began to run intermittenley. The tech told them the unit needed another hard start kit-they did not purchase and just lived with the problem. Now it is march and they want me to check out their unit so they will be good to go when the summer comes.I think it may be a problem checking the unit out until the weather gets hot . They are leaning towards purchasing a new unit.Is this unit worth putting any time and money into it?
