Another side entry failure
This is the fourth one of these I've seen. Unbelievable !

You must of photo shopped that, No one can be that stupid. LOL
-
Speechless, how long did it take the home owner to figure it out?
-
Call was for no cool, way too many other problems with it, serves an indoor pool.

The last one I posted on here

That sure is one big a-coil.
How many tons is that?
-
5 ton, on both A/H, different houses, same stupid nonfunctional side entry.
-
One would hope that wasn't done by a legit HVAC company.
Use the biggest hammer you like, pounding a square peg into a round hole does not equal a proper fit.
-
-
I've seen this before as well.
*forehead smack* every time.
The insulation does look nice.

duct work making love to an air handler ???
-
How can someone actually start that up and walk away?
-
I'm curious if the same installer has done all four that I have seen. The hyperion A/H (I think they're TAM now) can do side entry, but not these old ones. I was there for a no cool, customer declined work at that time. Will likely replace equipment. I wonder how it has performed all this time since install? Now I kinda want to play with it and see if I could band-aid it, to function somewhat.

Another side entry failure
I'm sure a permit wasn't pulled. If it was, the inspector needs to be fired.

It would be fun just to blank it off from the top of the filter to the top of the a coil and make a suck all the way through the coil, maybe the customer would say holy cow Batman it has never worked that well before.

That's kind of what I was thinking of trying, or flipping the A coil over (think V coil), and adding return to other side.
