I've seen this type of stuff before. What are people thinking?
See, the human mind is kind of like... a piñata. When it breaks open, there's a lot of surprises inside. Once you get the piñata perspective, you see that losing your mind can be a peak experience. ~Jane Wagner

I see that all the time in fast food joints and convenience stores.
Makes me glad I don't work on that crap.If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.

Not so sure on THAT model, as it has TWO front grills, but I've noticed that the remote condenser Hoshizaki's still have a grill up front... even though it doesn't move any air through the cabinet.
Maybe that's a remote or a water cooled unit.
If it's not. then someone wasn't thinking!

Water cooled or not. What about the service aspect of it? What about cleaning it?Looks like a 256, all the controls are at the top right. If it is air cooled, it will def. be starved for air and best of luck changing that comp..
What a mess. And good luck.

nothing a sawz-all wouldn't handle !! LoL
had one very similar at a local subway sandwich shop. built a table behind the counter in order to move equipment away from the bulk header.
i must say it was quite a science experiment on the evaporator. customers had complained of floaters in their drinks.., they weren't floating, they were swimming.Do it right the first time, how will you find time to do it right the second time ???!!!
