    York Chiller Lock-out

Hey, we ran into a situation where a ~100 ton York chiller locks out after a power outage.
My thought is that it would be the staring relays are bad, but when the York techs looked at it they didn't say anything about it and couldn't solve the problem.
Anyone else get around an issue like this?

units running?and you lose power that's a latching lock out and the alarm off the panel has to be reset/cleared to restart

I agree w/ Maxster, there is most likely some kind of phase protection going on where the unit will not start w/out being reset @ the control panel, after a fault, regardless if the start/stop switch is closed or not. What's the model of this chiller?

Perhaps the programming needs to be set up for an automatic restart???

But I highly doubt the York guys overlooked something as simple as that!

What are you reseting??? the control panel or the overloads?? if its the latter, Ive installed ICM 450 phase?voltage monitors to shut machines down before a manual reset is required.
