Teko Mechanical's construction division currently has an opening for a HVAC installer. Duties include installation of duct systems, welded grease duct, furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, commercial kitchen hood systems, refrigeration, and rooftop units in the commercial and industrial setting.


Essential duties of the HVAC Service Technician Position.

• Performs a variety of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) installations including complex duct installations, tenant improvements,welding, Mild Electrical/Controls Knowledge, duct systems, pipe fitting (threading, soldering, brazing) ground up buildings as well as much more.
• Can run a construction job and lead other employees
• Can purchase materials, organize bills and schedule deliveries.
• Adheres to all established safety procedures and standards.
• Maintains required records of work done, purchases, inventory, tools and equipment and faxes paperwork at the end of each workday.
• Attend project meetings when needed.
• Monitors the appropriate inventory of supplies and materials on the service vehicle.
• Trains and directs the activities of new technicians and other staff as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)

• Requires a minimum of four years HVAC experience.
• Requires the ability to work by their self.
• Requires physical ability to perform all primary job duties.
• Requires strong teamwork and flexibility to accomplish goals and department deadlines.
• Requires strong customer orientation in interacting with and resolving customer HVAC related issues in a timely, professional and positive manner.
• Requires EPA Refrigeration Certification within six months of assuming role. (company will provide training and testing costs)
• Requires a valid driver's license and the ability to drive a motor vehicle in a safe manner while carefully observing all traffic regulations.
• Must live within 35 miles of Waukesha

COMPENSATION

• Hourly wage up to 28.50
