    Best type of wye to use

    I would like to replace a duct board wye on my supply side with a metal wye. The wye has 9" coming in and two 7" leaving. Is the 'pant wye' better at evenly distributing the air than the 45 degree t-wye?

    Honestly, I've never seen the pants wye before for sale... I've made em, but never seen em.

    And yes, they are the way to go
