    Ribs on sale.

    Not sure if Kroger has the same sales all over but baby back's are on sale for 2.99 a pound. Can't pass that deal up I bought several slabs.

    I may do a couple slabs this weekend. Let's see how hung over I am 1st.

    So how are you going to do them Matt? Do you use a dry rub?

    I usually buy the full rack, cut off the sternum and trim off the skirt. Save the trim for other uses, then go to town on the finished ribs.

    Let us know what you end up doing! And pictures!

    I normally do them dry but this time I fealt like having them slathered in good quality bbq sauce. I seasoned them just as I would for dry but the last 1/2 hour they got bathed in sauce. Man they were good.

    mmmm RIBS

    bought 20#s friday @ $1/lbs from local independant store


    cooked up a few slabs Saturday

    BEER 1 - Dry rub
    BEER 2 & 3 Roast in 180 Oven (till tender) few Hrs
    covered pan with little MOP sauce
    BEER 4 Move to grill - bast w/homemade sauce
    BEER 5 & 6 Enjoy finished product with homemade slaw and
    French Fries
