Truly a sad day for conservatives. I hope his passing reminds the GOP what they're supposed to stand for.

Yeah, a great warrior in the battle for freedom and individual responsibility has passed away. Shame more couldn't have emanated him.

He was a genesis and he was on the side of the America I admire, not another leftest pseudointellectual who preach socialism and communism every day in the press and in our goverment. He will be missed. Rush talked about him today and his passing. He should have been playing funeral music in the background.

I'm sure he will not be missed by the advocates of big goverment here and abroad even though he was always a gentleman and never raised his voice in anger.

Glenn, I hope that the music that will play in honor of WFB will be some triumphant march. Check out this video from

It's got some good quotes from Mr. Buckley texted onto the screen. The music is neither funeral nor triumphant, so to speak, but it works. What do ya think?

Fantastic Doc. It highlights some of the most memorable quotes from Buckley. Loved it.
