    Angry utica

    Anybody ever had a utica boiler guage snap and the threads stay in the boiler? This happend in a new starfire 3. I recieved a new boiler. The guage was reading 20 psi with no pressure in boiler. The gauge would not come out. Snapped. I recieved a new boiler.

    They make pipe easy-outs. Even though it isn't your responsibility to repair the boiler. I doubt if Utica paid you for labor, so it's way better than replacing a whole boiler. I carry a set on the truck. They're especially good for getting broken off oil tank valve threads out with a full tank of oil.
