    some newer fuel pumps for efi systems can be several hundred bucks just for the pumps.
    If you want to make your fuel pump last longer always keep at least 1/2 tank of gas. If y ou run on E all the time there isn't enough fuel to cool the pump and eventually they burn out.

    And if you are lucky like me you have an old POS ford f150 (1986) that has THREE fuel pumps. One in each tank and a booster to get the fuel rail pressure up. I'm replacing all three of them now. what fun

    Speaking of root canals, I just had one on Monday. I timed the guy last time, 22 minutes, 17 minutes this time. $900.00 for a 17 minute root canal.

    I didn't time it exactly....but $1400 for under 30 minutes a few years ago.

    Don't you wish you could get a insurance card from them and bill it (or most of it) to their insurance...Then you could have super-dooper inflated prices and no one would be the wiser
