    Rheem Single heat with 2 stage cooling

    Hi all,
    I have a rheem single stage heat gas furnace and a 2 stage rheem coolling.
    Can someone help me with what therostat that will work with this?

    2 Heat 2 Cool non HP stat will work.

    Pick a a brand, Honeywell, White-Rodgers, etc....
    Karst means cave. So, I search for caves.

    Any 2h/2c tstat will work. Best to get an electronic one that doesn't have an emergency heat switch. I'm mostly familiar with Honeywell. Some of them can be programed for 1h/2c.

    You aren't getting most of the benefits of the 2 stage A/C with a conventional furnace. Airflow is jury-rigged, SEER is greatly compromised...

    Why did you have them install a two stage 16 SEER unit on a single speed blower? Did they suggest this was ok?

    thanks for your help. the contractor put in the wrong system. it was to be a carrier but he put in a rheem RGTA with RARL 16 SEER.

    The RARL performs as well as the 19 SEER Carrier, Just have him replace the furnace with the proper downflow (or horizontal) Mod.

    He's done you no favors, he can't be controlling the fan like he needs to. Whats the indoor coil?
