All you guys seem to have good knowledge of the ABB drive. I have a job almost ready for commissioning, the ABB drive is N2 capable, I haven't figured out how to set the N2 address. I'm sure it's a software change; I haven't been able to locate it in the manual. The drives have built in bypass. Sometimes it matters for certain things. I've started 3 of 10; so far they seem easy to get started, except for the rotation change. The line wires block the wires that are needed to swap the rotation, it takes about 15-20 minutes to make the change. These are mounted high in a Carrier AHU, need an 8 ft ladder to work on them. Other than that, they are intuitive and startup quickly.

    mechdorn,

In case you don't already have it I just e-mailed you a copy of the Embeded FieldBus Manual for the ABB ACH550 drive. It will tell you where to configure the drive for your N2 connection.

    Have Fun With It......
