    Extech

I recently purchased an Extech thermo-anemometer with an Ir. thermometer. I was wondering if anyone else has an Extech gauge and what your opinion is. First week's use, I find it nothing short of awesome. An excellent gauge!

I have a multi-meter. Thing does everything but amp-clamp. I have not been nice to it at all. I got as a gift and never intended on using it so rather than selling it or returning it to the store. I have let it roll around in different tool bags and shelves and the floor of a messy van and anywhere else that a meter just should not go and the thing wont die. It is scratched all to hell looks like a grease stained piece of sh** and still works flawlessly. Man I wished i took care of it. I cant have a customer see me use it looking like that they would take me for a joke for sure. Extech is good based on my exp. I have purchased their scope meter with the laptop kit and it is great. Be carefull not to switch the rotory with power to the leads, had to send it in for repair after that dumb move.
