High Temp Resistance Wires
Hey guys, I working on a fry station unit at BK and I thinking about replacing some of the wires inside where the heat lamp sockets are located because the wire itself seems to be burned. We always having some issues with that unit because sometimes the wire is burned off of the sockets, or lights are burning out. So i need to find some of the high temp Resistance wire that has like the cloth on top of the wire if you know what i mean. They seem to be hard to find around my area and on the net. I would also like to replace the insulation as well. The insulation don't seem to be keeping the heat out.

try northern parts, or tundra. Check for loose connections where its burning up as well. The wire is expensive but necessary on high heat applications.
Have you tried all the electrical supply stores in your area?

You need to go to www.radix-wire.com For heat and moisture service should use Tempergard 2000, but go on their site to pick your wire. High temp. terminals are a must.
Edit: If you can find out what kind of wire Liebert uses on their Infared humidifiers, it will out last anything in the kitchen.
