You should have it if you have Project Builder. Check in your Johnson folder "C:\Program Files\Johnson Controls\System Tools\zsrdi.exe" and create the shortcut from there. This won't really do you any good if ports are locked out though...

I'm talking to one of our lab rats now and he says the only port you may be able to crack is port 3, diagnostic port. He agrees with you that it is probably dead for real. The 4 ports having lamps on after the battery block is unusual. You may be able to see the IP address if port 3 lets you in. Make sure that you have everything else unplugged from this thing. If none of that works, you should most likely take the pill and replace it...

We found an answer to this problem:
The memory IC-s are defected, due the ageing or high board temperature. The controller is not repairable on site, with JCI tools (hyperterminal, Project Builder, etc.)
Should change the 4 memory IC-s (position: U302-U305), located near the processor. (U304-U305 below the ethernet card). Remove battery before soldering.
We use Renesas Semiconductor's product: R1LP0408CSP-5SI, but other manufacturer's products are still good with the same parameters.
After changing memory ICs, the N30 is operational, no extra configuration needed.
Regards
Peter
