The "Official Hotel"

OK. The hotel Managers name is Betty Ruff. She has lots of different types of rooms. A 1 person single queen is like $49.00. King 2 person a little more. She has a couple of rooms with 3 or more beds, but said she'll take some out if we wanna set up a bar, etc. There are 5 smokin rooms. This hotel is within walking distance from many waterin holes, restaurants, downtown, museum, Elks, etc. I even warned her about "Parking lot parties" and "Muskies Room" and she said "You guys just have fun honey, we wont have any problems" So, I think this is the real deal. I would reserve now, in case a big oilfield crew comes through that week. You can always cancel later if a change comes up. www.centralmotel.biz

Too early to call. If we do stay a night in cabins..... it's only $50 lost huh?

Thats funny Otto. When I used to go to a resteraunt before I had kids, waitress would ask "Smoking or Non?" and I'd loudly say "Smokin, drinkin and cussin Maam!" and they'd give me a table waaaaaay in the back.

Just spoke to Mrs Ruff and I was promised that her and Jacks mother will make plenty of cabbage pockets for us ! I asked her if there were any smoking rooms left and she simply told me " Honey ya know , we'll make it work . Thats all I will say . " lol I am looking forward to meeting her already .

I am booked 8/15 - 8/18 . Plan on leaving Tuesday . I already got the OK for the vacation time from the boss .

Well you guys must have wore poor Betty out today. She was off tonight. I talked to a young lady who didn't know too much about the Convention. But she told me what rooms where available so I reserved one.

I have to call Betty back in the AM and make it all official.
