    Sizing Question

I have a system to put in, I have to follow an engineering plan, the plan states on a zone, First Company heat/cooling units with Lennox ac-14s. Anyway the plan calls for a MBXB30 but then specifies a Lennox 3-ton outside unit. On high the most cfm's I can move would be 1,000 so why would the plan specify a 3-ton outside unit.

    Thanks

One or the other is a typo.

Doesn't sound right. I'd be asking the same question. I would definitely voice your concern now. You know as well as I do that you'll be the one expected to perform miracles on this unit once it starts crapping out. Contact the engineer who speced out these components.

    Run

My experience with First Company is with a botched hydronic design by the homeowner. Run!
