I thought k_fridge was referring to Hillary, not Bill. He may have mentioned jesus, but his policies weren't influenced by his faith.

Like hell they weren't. Everything he accomplished was based on his faith.

We have enough Christians trying to shove their beliefs onto everyone else, trying to tell us what's right, what's wrong, what we should and should not watch on TV, etc.

Actually, what we have is a bunch of non-Christians broadcasting what Christians do not want to watch. Wouldn't be so bad if they didn't do it mid-Super Bowl during primetime.

As for being in a bad place, no, I don't think Bill is bad off. One question though, does anyone else think his rants were intended to hurt Hillary...maybe his way of saying you people really don't want to vote for this woman? He was a shrewd campaigner, maybe the best, so it seems strange he would go off like he did.

Not strange at all. He over-stayed his welcome.

Is there actually anyone in the political landscape that would have made a 'good candidate' this go-round? Someone to get fired up about and rally behind?

Exactly his problem. He just didn't get much air time which is why he never gained enough to stick with it. What he was busy doing was representing his constituents rather than running on the campaign trail. He's a very loyal kind of person and felt he owed more to his constituents than to leave his job to travel.

He is the conservative's conservative...Reagan-like in his ideals and JFK-like in his expectations of the people of this nation. Anti-hand-the-nation-over-to-illigals, pro-life, anti-tax-hikes, very free-enterprise and stand-up-and-be-counted kind of guy.

    Not your typical politician.

That's right, I forgot about Bill getting a hummer from Monica because his faith told him it was the right thing to do. My bad. And if christians don't want to watch something, they can change the damn channel. Don't sit and preach to everyone that they shouldn't be watching it. It must suck to go through life being offended by everything your church tells you to be offended by.

Exactly right. His penis is his god. What'd ya expect? Thanks for making my point.

Walked right in...sat right down. Thanks.

Ya see, air, when I watch a football game during primetime, I don't expect half naked women and double entendre lines blasted on the TV for the little ones to see and hear. And you are right. I can and did turn it off. So now don't you and your ilk complain because mfg has been outsourced. Ads must mean something to mfrs or they wouldn't pay premium prices.

Don't sit and preach to everyone that they shouldn't be watching it.

Matter of fact, I don't preach about it. Knock yer silly self out watching porn for all I care. Just keep it out of my house, you and your homosexual friends.

It must suck to go through life being offended by everything your church tells you to be offended by.

I am offended by that which offends me and am angered by those who would slam lies, homosexual agenda, and porn down the visual throats of my family. Ya don't like that, then ya got a pretty tough teet to suck on yerself.

If anyone is to be pitied, air, it is you.

    What are you? 23...24?

One boob slip during halftime of a superbowl and people can't let it go. And why are my friends homosexuals? None of my friends watch gay porn as far as I know. Another instance of anyone who isn't a jesus freak being labeled a homosexual or something else that christians deem to be wrong.

And why then do Christians have to be 'jesus freaks?'

I swear you do bring it on yourself.

Perhaps you considered that wardrobe malfunction innocent fun but most people were disgusted that the entertainment included something that could go that awry. It was either planned or very nearly planned--and had no place at an event such as that.

I was disgusted that they didn't use a nicer boob. I mean really, Janet Jackson?

I know there were some people scarred by that.

I personally don't care if that type of thing is on television as I have no kids in the house etc. but I fully agree with those that consider it in bad taste to have it because of kids and all. So, keep it on the cable/subscriber channels and don't put it where people are 'surprised' by it. Seems pretty simple.
