    The thermostat you listed, I could not get set up data off the net. Perhaps one of the other pros here could help you with the stats. I would recommend one of the ones I listed before, so you have a matched system. With the xli heat pumps your ten year parts warranty on them would also cover the thermostats as well as the parts on the furnace. ( trane stats ,like the tcont803)

    Where do you live?
    Go to the distributor that he purchased the equipment through they are responsible for his 2 year dealer obligation.

    any update on your problems?

    Obviously they are not as serious since you found out that your backup gas furnaces were the correct var speed XV models. I am just surprised that you have been living with this mess for so long.
