Rhenn Ruud 1-1/2 and 2 ton reversing valves sticking
Having several failures on Ranco valves (made in China) on Rheem and Ruud 1-1/2 & 2ton heat pumps only. Any one else experiencing this problem??? sometimes the problem is intermittant. Even ocurring on 16 seer units. Some model series having trouble are -PMD, -PPB.

Look in the commercial forum. There is a some great info on sticking Ranco valves there. Take a look!

Lack of nitrogen drift and too hot torch is most of the cause
