You Guys Got Jerky Recipes?
I am looking for a recipe or two for jerky brine. I have a freezer full of venison calling out for my dehydrator. But so far I have been disappointed with the few recipes I have tried, including homemade and store bought. I have had success with the powered mixes for ground meat, but I prefer sliced meat jerky.

HIGH MOUNTAIN PEPPER BLEND
thats the type I use , its a rub but I havnt found anything that compares to it. I have had a lot of guys tell me how good theirs is and have pretty much tried them.
No comparison to the high mountain pepper blend, I have tried their other favors .......originals ok, dont really like the others. I will stick to pepper from now on.
as much as we do at one time , we have 2 dehidraters with extra trays now.

I use to buy it out of Cabella's until a local store started carrying it.
Thats where I first ran into it , in a cabella's one time passing thru South Dakota as I remember.

Google Jerky. Last time there were a bunch. Mostly home made.
Tracers work both ways.

This is the best I've had so far for homemade jerky.
The guy I got this recipe from used his oven, with no smoke, but I use my smoker with hickory chips.
This recipe will marinate approx. 4# of meat.
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp liquid smoke
2 Pkgs. Lawry's Tenderizing Beef Marinade
1 Tbsp salt
2/3 cup water
Mix ingredients until dissolved, add meat and marinate in refrigerator 6-12 hours.
Place in smoker at 225°-250° for 4-6 hours using one 16 oz. soup can of soaked hickory chips.______________________________________________
