    Media Control

Just heard a stat. 90% of what we see, hear, and read is controlled by five corporations.

    What can we really know?

I'm surprised it's that many. I would have figured 2-3.

I'm not sure as I only heard the stat and decided to throw it out here to see if anyone could verify it. Your list does sound compelling.

Control information and you control people.
Blogs might be the only free press we can experience today although I don't go there. Maybe I should.

Fear controls people, not information. The media knows this and exploits it to the max. Information is just the delivery mechanism.
Hope and faith, motivate, which the media tries to suppress.
A motivated people are not easily controlled. There is a method to the media's madness.
