    New here

Hello, my name is Paul. I've been a long time reader and have used this site many times as a "lack of knowledge" resource. I would like to thank all who has contributed to this site.

I am a commercial service tech, still learning everyday. I began learning as a freshman in a vocational high school in CT. I worked summers through high school working with service techs and started full time when i graduated. I have worked installing and configuring ASI controls on and off while in the field (there isn't that much work for it to be consistent). I am not very familiar with other brands/developers but I do aspire to be a controls jedi. I've been in So. Fl. for 4 1/2 years now and all I can say is it burns.

I will be applying for pro status here when i get my post count up.

    Thanks all!

No secrets there. A collection of posts and articles from knowledgeable people.

But you need the secret handshake.

you have motivation, that puts you ahead of the majority of newer techs. and you have goals too? where did you come from? lol. as toocoolforschool said, you will go very far in this industry with determination you show. stick around, there is sooooo much good advise here. we can sometimes get rough so a little thick skin is handy sometimes, but usually it will blow over. welcome.
