a/c will run when you jump y and w? will do the burners ignite too? you should get someone more familiar with these units.

I have a couple of emails out to friends in the Residential field. I have never come across anything like this. yes the burners come on also. the W was the only hot terminal at the furnace and stat so I just jumped it to y to see if the condenser would run, and it did. maybe a short in the 24 volt ??

if you ask to move this to the tech to tech forum we could go into a little more detail. we aren't allowed to give diy advice and even though you are a tech this is an open forum and the info would be available for any guy to see and use. lets try to get it moved. I will tell you I see a simple issue that you may kick yourself for missing. think of how you lv board and stat work with each other.

ICP Model GNJ100N12D1 Blower won't shut off

I'm a retired Chiller tech..Ok, my home furnace has me stumped. Had a little water come down exhust vent pipe and the top of the furnace was wet. repaired leak..now the draft and blower motor runs all the time ..Have replace the board twice along with the limit switch and New nest and still not fixed..blowers running even when the stat is in the off position..it will call for heat and cycle but will not run the a/c ..I can jump out the a/c and it will run. took all the 24 volt wires off the board and both blowers still running..HELP I use to think I was a pretty good tech but this has me stumped.

Did you check all the safety limits? There may be one on the blower that's open, causing the problem. You said the furnace lights though? Only a two year tech here.
