    filter-drier pressure drop.

I was just wondering what kind of pressure drop across a filter-drier core you guys change the core. It seems that I remember reading that when it gets to 3 psi above the starting pressure drop, you should change it.

These days, it depends. 3 psid is a good rule of thumb, for a constant refrigerant volume application. But what if you had a 1 psi drop but only 1 of 3 compressors running? It will be higher when all of the compressors are running so you may want to think about a lower number under certain conditions.
