Trane Tracker RJ12 to DB9 Pin out?

Hello All,
I am attempting to connect to a Tracker panel through the RJ12 port and the book states you need an RJ12 straight through cable and a RJ12 to DB9 adapter to connect to the serial port(com1). The problem is that when you buy an adapter it comes in two pieces. The Rj12 part with six wires hanging out of it with push pins installed and the DB9 part with nine empty holes. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks, Road

Do a search here. That pinout has been posted many times. The way you are going about it is going to require some soldering to jump the necessary pins.
