Minor freeze damage to water supply tees
Luckily not much water would get out of this, since the shutoffs were 25 feet in the air, in the middle of a very busy area!!

Do you think that two out of three of these look like Texas Longhorn embossed tees?

More Chinese crap the walls are very thin.
Thats all the darn suppliers seem to carry anymore. Hopefully that was the only fittings that split. Always in the most difficult spot to change too. What happened to the good old Ward or Flagg fittings they wouldnt have blown out.

The Ward fittings cost a little more, so the cheaper stuff gets chosen.
One local supplier still has Ward black pipe fittings and US made black pipe, not sure about cast brass stuff. The US made iron stuff is almost double the cost of Chinese big box stuff.
Big box Chinese pipe is full of rust and doesn't thread well.
Another supplier that caters to the pipefitter crowd may also stock plenty US made stuff.
